I am sorry for the second message. I thought it might help to know the warning I received during the import process. It is below.
Thanks!

Subject: Unrecognized keyword -- DocTabs.ini
Date: Fri, 22 Aug 2014 10:41:53 -0400

Hello all,
I have upgraded my Winedt 64 bit from 8 to 9 on two different machines. I tried to do the last one today and received an error during the upgrade process (actually, when I tried to import Winedt 8 settings). It stopped and said there was an "Initialization Error" and displayed DocTabs.ini. It then said that there was an Unrecognized Keyword at the line "HOT_TRACK=1 // Ignored by Windows".
I commented out this line (since it says in the comments that it is ignored by Windows) and tried to Load the Current Script and received the same error, but now at the next line. Oh, and one more thing. The importing process continued and showed 3 warnings.
Any ideas about what went wrong and/or how to fix this?
Thanks!
Mark
PS I have copied part of the DocTabs.ini file in case this helps.

Mark,

in your local copy of DocTabs.ini (%b\ConfigEx\DocTabs.ini) replace the
lines
Post by Mark Lewis
[DOCUMENT_TABS]
// Basic Properties
// VISIBLE=0 // Don't Adjust Visibility
MULTI_LINE=1
FILETYPES=1
NEW_ON_DBL_CLICK=1
CLOSE_ON_DBL_CLICK=1
CLOSE_ON_MIDDLE_CLICK=1
HOT_TRACK=1 // Ignored by Windows
// The following Properties are Obsolete
// They may be ignored by Windows or else
// they may impair the appearance of Tabs
CUSTOM_COLORS=0
NORMAL_COLOR="#000080"
ACTIVE_COLOR="#0000FF"
MODIFIED_COLOR="#800000"
ACTIVE_MODIFIED_COLOR="#FF0000"
// FONT_SIZE=0 // Use Default Font Size!
FONT_SIZE=11
IMAGES_ENABLED=1
EXTRA_TEXT_SIZE=0
EXTRA_HEIGHT=0
with the following ones (then remember to reload the script):

[DOCUMENT_TABS]

// Basic Properties

// VISIBLE=0 // Don't Adjust Visibility
MULTI_LINE=1
FILETYPES=1

NEW_ON_DBL_CLICK=1
CLOSE_ON_DBL_CLICK=1
CLOSE_ON_MIDDLE_CLICK=1

EXTRA_TEXT_SIZE=0
EXTRA_HEIGHT=0

Mark,

sorry, I made a mistake.

Replace them with

[DOCUMENT_TABS]

// Basic Properties

// VISIBLE=0 // Don't Adjust Visibility
MULTI_LINE=1
FILETYPES=1

NEW_ON_DBL_CLICK=1
CLOSE_ON_DBL_CLICK=1
CLOSE_ON_MIDDLE_CLICK=1

EXTRA_TEXT_SIZE=0
EXTRA_HEIGHT=0

IMAGES_ENABLED=1

Mark,

then, if you want to increase the font size in document tabs,
give a positive value to EXTRA_TEXT_SIZE.

Regards,

Karl
